The much awaited amendment required in MEIS has been announced by DGFT through Public Notice 27 Dt. 24.07.2015. It includes the shifting of countries from one to another group in order to facilitate better exports. The countries include Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein from group C to A and Hong Kong from B to C. 42 products has been deleted, rates for 118 and 63 lines have been amended.
