Managing your Exports – More Profitably

DGFT, Govt. of India and EEPC India in association with Rohtak I.D.C. Industries Association, Rohtak has organized an “Export Awareness Program on Niryat Bandhu Scheme and Business Opportunities at IESS”. The main objective of the program was to promote potential exporters by training them on the nitty-gritty of foreign trade through counselling and motivating sessions. The scheme also acknowledged the importance of the medium and small scale enterprises (MSME) in India’s manufacturing sector in terms of output, employment and exports from India. This discussion was of immense significance in light of upcoming review of Foreign Trade Policy in new GST Era.

Mr. R P Jhalani, EX. Chairman, EEPC INDIA and Mr. Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director, Engineering Export Promotion Council gave presentation on Global Business Opportunities in IESS VIII. Mr. Nitish Suri, Dy. DGFT, Office of Addl DGFT (CLA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India also gave presentation on Niryat Bandhu Scheme & FTP (2015-2020). Mr. Ajay Kumar, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak, Government of Haryana was also one of the speaker.

Mr. Sanjay Beswal Regional Committee Member, EEPC INDIA; and Director, ANDEES CONSULTING, Delhi gave a comprehensive presentation on “Managing your Exports – More Profitably”, apart from the various other schemes and procedures under the Foreign Trade Policy.

The event was ended with Open House session which was taken up by Mr. Sanjay Beswal along with Senior DGFT officials
